Correspondent
A reporter who covers a specific field or region, often from a distance, such as a foreign or political correspondent.
A correspondent is a specialist reporter posted to a place or a subject: the Washington correspondent, the chief political correspondent, the rural correspondent. The title signals expertise and trust. Simon spent years as a working journalist before Wonder World, and the correspondent's habits, contacts and curiosity never left him.
