On Wonder World
Sheridan Jobbins was a Wonder World reporter from 1981 to 1984. She was already a television veteran by then. As a child she had hosted her own cooking show, and was once listed by Guinness World Records as the youngest television host in the world.
After Wonder World
She reported for the ABC and for Good Morning Australia on Ten, then moved behind the camera as a screenwriter. With the director Stephan Elliott she wrote the feature film Easy Virtue, starring Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2008.
In 2017 she published Wish You Were Here, a memoir about driving across the United States after a divorce. She is a member of both the Australian and the American writers' guilds.
