About this episode
A typical Wonder World half hour from late 1986. Carolyn Mee meets The Phones, an a cappella group who sing everything without instruments. Hugh Munro looks at how to raise a happy, healthy puppy, including the trick to getting a dog to take a tablet. Brett Clements visits families with twins, triplets and quads through the Multiple Birth Association, and Wednesday Kennedy follows young rhythmic gymnasts who were Australian champions at 11 to 13.
In between, Simon does what he did every week. Shane Bannerman's Record Breaker brings a giant stick insect and the world's heaviest cat, Lachlan Smith's Newshound hands out gifts, there is a music clip from Hollywood Beyond, and Ronnie the emu helps close the show.
The tape's own slate says this show was recorded on 05/11/1986. We have not found the day it first went to air, so this page does not give one.
Newly restored clips are added to this page as they are published to YouTube. If a clip shows as unavailable, it is scheduled and will appear here once it is live.
