About this episode
A Wonder World half hour from 1985. Brett Clements goes looking for monsters and Yowies with a cryptozoologist, Edith Bliss watches a Test cricket pitch being prepared and later meets a collector of police badges, and Phillip Tanner asks what pop art is before meeting The Nylons, who sing everything a cappella. Malinda Rutter explains why white rhinos are not actually white.
The biggest stunt of the week is the reporters pushing a hospital bed 20 kilometres. In between, Simon answers the mail with Dear Danny, meets a young inventor with a dishwasher that puts the dishes away, and there is a music clip from Jimmy Barnes.
The tape's own slate says this show was recorded on 23/04/1985. The slate also notes a planned transmission date, but we have not confirmed the day it first went to air, so this page does not give one.
