Printers . . . I strongly urge not to user inkjet or thermal printers, or any kind of old-fashioned printer.
Use ONLY laser printers.
When I bought my first laser printer in 1990, it cost $5000. Then in 2000 I bought my current laser printer (a Hewlett Packard Laserjet 4050 with duplex) for $2500. I am about to replace it with a Dell duplex printer for $600. Prices have nose-dived! The Sept 2007 Choice magazine recommends the HP Laserjet 1022 as the best and it costs only $299. Having had a Hewlet-Packard for eight years I can heartily recommend that brand.
